Spin Cast
Spin Cast lapel pins are great for 3D designs. Spin casting uses centrifugal force to manufacture castings from a rubber mold. It is called spin casting because the mold spins along its central axis while the molten casting metal is poured in through an opening at the top of the mold. The mold continues to spin until the metal is hard. Check out this cute koala design to see what kind of results we can produce.

Photo Etched
Photo etched pins give a similar result to die struck pins and are comparatively less expensive because of the more economical manufacturing process. Photo etched pins are created from a photo of your art. The photo is transferred to the surface of a sheet of metal, and then the design is etched into the metal surface. The etched carvings are then filled with enamel paint colors. When the colors are set, the custom shape is cut from the sheet of metal. Then, your pins are finished up with polish and, if you prefer, a clear coating.

Printed Pins
Printed pins are ideal for pin designs with lots or colors or when colors blend or fade. Printed pins are metal pins with your artwork printed on top. Just like photo etched and die struck pins, printed pins can be cut into all sorts of sizes. They're covered with a clear protective coating that will help your pins look great for years and years.
